Mary Ellen Pesanello

Oh hey! I'm Mary Ellen and I'm currently a consultant at Deloitte specializing in entertainment and media. Each day I help our clients and our business advance as leaders and innovators in the entertainment space.

I graduated New York University’s Stern School of Business in August 2020, where I got my MBA and focused my studies on marketing, general management, entertainment, media, and technology. I also have my BFA from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. While there I majored in film and television, and double-minored in production and documentary. In 2017, I enrolled in NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies, and earned an Advanced Diploma in Digital Marketing.

Between internships and full-time employers, in the last 10 years I've worked at a ton of places, gaining a ton of experience!

Before Deloitte, I worked as a Digital Marketing Manager of Partnership & Promotions at Discovery’s Food Network and discovery+. One of my big projects was Food Network Kitchen, an app where you can cook alongside the chefs via LIVE and ON-DEMAND classes. The partners I managed at Discovery included Amazon, Verizon, Hearst, Kraft, and Target.

Some of the other companies I’ve worked for include CBS News Digital, CBS Interactive, AMC Networks, Warner Brothers, Showtime’s Smithsonian Channel,  MSG Networks, the Brooklyn Cyclones, and NYU Athletics. For more information about my work experience, you can check out my resumes below.

In my free time, I'm very active, often at the gym, baking, sewing, writing, and creating. I like exploring new hobbies- activities that force me to push my creativity and problem solving.

In the years to come, I aspire to passionately continue a career in communications, entertainment, and digital media marketing.
